InWin is one of the oldest manufacturers of PC cases and power supply units. The company was founded in 1985 and they recently celebrated their 35th anniversary. Unlike most other companies, InWin has remained almost exclusively focused on the design and marketing of PC cases, AIO's and PSUs rather than trying to diversify into other areas of the market. Today InWin is offering one of the most comprehensive selections of cases, ranging from low-cost towers to entirely unique designs. Well, we continue our momentum with this time, the In Win 315 test! The InWin 315 case is designed to become the basis of a gaming-grade desktop computer with an unusual design. As a reminder, this model is based on the 303 chassis. However, there are some differences, especially in the design and materials. On this version, we have a front panel and an upper part split in two combining aluminum and tempered glass creating an eye-catching contrast in appearance.
Mesh.
Mini-ITX system builds have become big business as more and more consumers are looking for compact and stylish PC solutions for their home office and living room. The InWin B1 certainly fits the bill. The InWin B1 mini-ITX case has been introduced back on 2020 with a minimalist look that can be used vertically or horizontally. Some of the main features of this Mini-ITX case was the extremely small footprint, and the vents that are incorporated into the exterior design of the case. These two features make this box perfect for work from home office or some not too powerful gaming equipment. While the little B1 offered a wooden upper panel a few weeks ago, now InWin brings a new variation with the B1 Mesh, which quite logically offers mesh on the top. A very different approach for a case which is now offered in three different versions so that everyone finds something to suit their tastes, but also the cooling needs of the configuration which remains limited to 60 mm for the processor radiator, with an 80 mm fan present by default on the side (or the top if the case is installed vertically via its support supplied as a bundle). While the glass looks great, it does lead to some relatively high temperatures, and while these won’t come close to putting your PC at risk, they do come with the annoyance of high fan speeds. Inside, the power supply is still 200 W with an 80 PLUS Gold certification. No PCI bracket is present, and we will therefore opt for a processor with an integrated graphics part. As for storage, it is installed on the back with two 2.5" slots, plus a cutout in the motherboard support for quick access to a possible M.2 slot.
InWin is known for making cases that aren't mainstream. They were one of the first to employ glass, then wood, and even 3D-printed one of a kind pieces. The InWin N515 doesn't push that envelope as hard, but still aims to offer full, uncompromising E-ATX support with a unique layout while adding a bit of a visual cherry on top with the ARGB infinity mirror in the front. For those who want the same body at a smaller price point without that additional bling, there is the non-N InWin 515 instead.
This is one of the best cases InWin has done yet. It makes no compromises on features and quality, and it just feels like it’s ready to be whatever you need it to be. Clearly, this is a very well made case. It’s the little details that make it exceptional though, and the engineering of it really stands out. I have to admit that I was sold on the InWin N515 Ultra Cooling Edition when I turned it on. I don't remember the last time I had so much fun with a chassis and its lighting elements. The Nebula luminous front panel is such a cool idea. It creates a celestial universe with an infinite depth perception. Building a PC setup used to be a huge challenge for newbies. Fortunately, manufacturers are making it much easier for potential screwdrivers to assemble a PC on their own these days. This is also the case with the N515....
So this is going be an experience for me, this is the first time I am PUTTING TOGETHER a PC case. Yep I said that right, InWin sent over their new Airforce PC case, which is flat packed. Touting a “Build your own Chassis”, the Airforce takes aim for a different DIY experience.
With ITX chassis popularity going strong, it makes sense for InWin to add their own all-new Explorer to the mix. Following the innovative Alice chassis for ultralight PC, the new Explorer is created for DIY enthusiasts who enjoy assembling modular and detailed gaming chassis themselves. Everything hooks effortlessly. The EXPLORER is said to be an impressive mini-ITX case. This include triple-slot graphics card support, m-ITX motherboard support, and multiple configuration potential. It makes use of form factors and components in its favour while offering some unique elements of its own. Plus, you can even dismantle the case all the way down to its motherboard tray. It is made of SECC galvanized steel and reinforced ABS plastic with tempered glass side panels. You can choose from a simple Bone White or Justice White with vibrant mixes of red, blue and yellow that users can assemble on the 10pcs modular mini-ITX chassis. Today in our InWin Explorer Mini-ITX Case review we have the Bone White case to show. We’ll discuss everything you need to know about it like its specifications, features, performance, and more.
